I know that it can be hard to know how to help your child with his or her math work when the way you learned how to "do math" wasn't the same. We're really working hard on building a strong math foundation and number sense, which is why we learn a little differently than our parents did!
SPELLING LISTS
Spelling Lists will be sent home weekly and will stay in the child's take home folder for the week. If you need access to the words, you can find the lists for the whole year in the Google Doc to the right.

MEET MRS. HOJER
Hello! I am so excited to be your child's teacher for this school year, and I know that it is going to be a great year! This is my 15th year of teaching, all but one of those years have been spent in the De Smet School District as the 5th Grade Teacher! While I love teaching the children new concepts every year and watching their "ah-ha" moments evolve, I also enjoy learning from them every day! I truly believe that every child has the ability and potential to be a great learner and when they work hard and give it their very best, they will accomplish the tasks they are set out for!
